new transportation provider in 2026.

Washington County would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Specialized Transport Services (STS) for nearly 20 years of dedicated service to our community. Their commitment to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation has made a lasting impact on the lives of thousands of riders.

Starting January 2026, GO Riteway will become our new contracted provider. GO Riteway brings a strong track record of innovation and service in shared-ride transportation, and we are confident they will continue to serve our community with professionalism and care.

We understand that transitions can bring questions. We are working closely with both STS and GO Riteway to ensure a smooth handoff and minimize any disruptions to service. Our top priority is maintaining reliable access to the transportation you depend on.

This change is part of a routine procurement process overseen by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. This change only affects the provider of the Washington County Shared Ride Taxi.
