Subject- Motorcycle vs SUV Injury Crash

On October 20th, 2021, at approximately 7:29 am the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an injury crash on Hubertus Rd east of State Hwy 175, in the Village of Richfield.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene along with Richfield Fire and Rescue. Upon arrival, First Responders began to treat the female operator a motorcycle involved in the crash. The female suffered significant injuries and Flight for Life was requested to the scene.

The initial investigation indicates that a westbound SUV, operated by a 65 year old Thiensville man failed to yield right away to the east bound motorcycle, operated by a 49 year old West Bend women. The SUV turned in front of the motorcycle causing a near head on collision.

The Thiensville man was un-injured. The West Bend women was transported to Froedtert Milwaukee by Flight for Life.

The female motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The accident remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
