Dog Parks

In the Washington County Parks System there are two dog parks: Homestead Howl and Sandy Paws. These dog parks reside in the County Parks Homestead Hollow and Sandy Knoll respectively. To access the dog parks, entrance fees apply.

Homestead Howl

Homestead Howl Prairie View

Homestead Howl is a dog park that opened in 2018 inside of Homestead Hollow County Park. This dog park features separate large and small dog areas enclosed with fences. The small dog area has a smaller open field. The large dog area has an open field and a trail that loops around into a prairie and woods beyond the field. The path is fully enclosed by a fence with a gate to go to a trail that is outside the dog park. The park is located in the Village of Germantown at N120W19809 Freistadt Rd, Germantown, WI 53022.

Sandy Paws

Sandy Paws Dog Park

Sandy Paws is a dog park that opened in 2020 inside of Sandy Knoll County Park. This dog park features separate large and small dog areas enclosed with fences. The small dog area contains a small grass field with a perimeter of trees. The large dog area contains an open grass field and trails that loops into the forest. These trails are all enclosed and contain gates that lead to other trails in the park. The park is located in the Town of Trenton at 2064 Wallace Lake Road, West Bend, WI 53090.
