The Fields Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF)

Assisted Living is a term that covers several different licensed programs in the State of WI. Programs or facilities that are classified as an assisted living vary from state to state as well.

Assisted living is meant for a person who can generally live independently, but needs some assistance with some basic functions. Typically, when someone refers to assisted living, they are talking about a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF).

A licensed CBRF allows for resident assistants or certified nursing assistants (CNA) to help with daily living activities. A CBRF allows for a limit of three hours of professional licensed nursing care a week.

The Fields CBRF has 24/7 wake staff as well as a registered nurse that assists in the overall clinical care. The Housing Manager ensures that resident needs are met and there is a high quality of life provided.
