The Washington County Shared-Ride Taxi Service provides public shared-ride services throughout Washington County and into the northern portion of Menomonee Falls.
(Menomonee Falls service area boundaries include Maple Road to the west, Pilgrim Road to the east, and Menomonee Avenue to the south, with the exception that Menomonee Falls Froedtert Hospital and Gloria Dei Day Care are also included.)

Title VI Policy

In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the county will ensure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participating in, or denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any County program, or activity receiving federal financial assistance. The county further will ensure that federally supported transit services and related benefits are distributed in an equitable manner.

Making a Discrimination Complaint

Anyone who believes that their rights under Title VI  or ADA have been violated should contact the Human Resources Director with Washington County Human Resources at: 432 East Washington Street, West Bend, WI 53095 or (262) 335-4496 between the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Reasonable Modification Requests

The Washington County Transit (through the contract service providers) providing public transportation, shall respond to individuals with disabilities with requests for reasonable modifications to policies and procedures. Please reference The Washington County Transit Policies and Procedures for Riders and Providers.

1) An individual with a disability requesting a reasonable modification shall describe what they need in order to use the transit service.

2) When feasible, the individual with a disability requesting a reasonable modification shall give a minimum of a day advanced notice prior to a scheduled ride by either phone or mail. This is in order to have an enough time to process and review the request. Email maybe an option, but emails are not guaranteed to be monitored on a daily basis.
