Sandy Knoll

Sandy Knoll County Park, established in 1974, spans 257 acres, making it the largest and oldest park in the Washington County Park System. The park’s landscape features a mix of prairies and wooded areas on gently rolling, mostly flat terrain. Located in the Town of Trenton, just north of West Bend, at 2064 Wallace Lake Road, West Bend, WI 53090, it offers a variety of recreational opportunities.

Notable features include the Sandy Paws Dog Park, an 18-hole disc golf course (with an additional 9-hole beginner course coming soon), a swimming beach on a scenic pond, and several level trails ideal for walking and hiking.

The park also offers a renovated event barn, a rentable house, and multiple picnic shelters. Open fields provide space for various outdoor activities, and a designated snowmobile trail runs through a corner of the park, allowing easy access for winter recreation.
